The OS 3.9 picture.datatype works perfectly with Opus5. In fact, it is
developed by the same person as the Picasso96 one, and Opus always
worked with P96. You really should use it, because its API has more
features, and when (or if ;-) some software expects OS3.9 to run the 3.9
picture.datatype, the software might fail and you will not know why once
again... Apart from that, the OS 3.9 picture.datatype is a fat-binary,
maybe your WarpOS installation is at fault?
Stefan Rupprecht is one of the OS developers. Maybe you already used his
datatype before? I can't check ATM, my Amiga is broken :-(

My bet would be, that it will still run as good (or as bad) as under
3.9, only that there will be even more new OS features unsupported by
Opus. That's nobody's fault, but it is a pity Opus does not get updated
any more..
To GPSoft: Is there any small chance for a Mac version now the Windows
version is nearly ready? Mac OS X is such a great OS, but the new Finder
(Mac's version of the workbench) is one huge pos (sorry, but it's true).
